HELLO FRIENDS,
Austin County is a very caring place. This community cares for its seniors, feeding those less fortunate, children, education, preserving the history of our community, old cars, pets, feral animals, and plants. Heck, we even care about saving the bees!
It wasn’t until I completed editing the seven stories in this issue that I became aware of the abundance of warmth and support that makes Austin County such a wonderful place to live.
Take a moment to congratulate yourself if you nurture, sponsor, or participate in making AC a better place to live and work. If you are not involved in some small way, I hope you might be inspired to start when your schedule permits.
And, if you are on the receiving end of this love, remember you have a lot of people who care.
