Bellville Farmers Market

First Saturdays, 9 AM - Noon

Head to the Jim Bishop Pavilion every first Saturday of the month for fresh produce, plants, baked goods, canned goods and handcrafted items. You won’t get any fresher than this!

First Saturdays, 9 AM – 4 PM 

Here, you can find over 100 vendors for local eats and crafts at the Jim Bishop Pavillion. Come to shop and stay for the live music!

Third Saturdays, 9 AM – 2 PM

Shop goods from local artisans, farmers and more. It’s the perfect place to connect with the community. This is a popular event with plenty of parking.

Bluebonnet Master Gardener Association 2025 Training Class Begins

January 9 – April 17 

Set a resolution to improve your green thumb this year. The 2024 BMGA Training Class begins January 9 and will meet weekly through April 17 at the Washington County Expo Event Center. Make sure you attend the first class to register!

Butchering and Curing Weekend at Barrington Plantation

January 11 – 12 

Farm & Rodeo

Join in an old-fashioned 19th-century style curing. Barrington Plantation is hosting its annual butchering and curing weekend. The hog will be butchered on Saturday, and the curing process will start on Sunday.

31st Annual MLK Grande Parade

January 20

Festival 

Honor Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy at the Bellville MLK Parade. The parade's theme is "Unity Through Diversity" and will feature culturally diverse performance groups from across the nation. It will start at 10:00 AM on San Jacinto Street and Elgin Street.

Downtown Bellville Chocolate Walk

Take your sweetheart to Bellville’s annual Chocolate Walk the Thursday before Valentine's Day. Participating businesses will be marked with red balloons. Parents, Plan Ahead for Summer Break!

Have a kid who dreams of launching off into space or working for NASA? BEST Space Camp is hosted in early July and welcomes 4th through 8th graders from any local school or homeschool. Campers will engage in hands-on activities while learning about the planets, stars and space exploration. Look for applications hitting the Bellville Public Library, West End Public Library, Gordon Memorial Library and Phenix Knives in April/May!
