Winter is behind us, including the cold one day and hot the next weather.
Spring is also when families and communities gather for Easter wearing pastel-colored clothes and hats to church, followed by Easter egg hunts on the lawn. Sweet little faces and fingers are smudged with chocolate while parents, neighbors and friends gather to celebrate and discuss upcoming adventures and summer vacations. Read several inspiring stories in this issue.
Also in this issue are stories with advice for first-time homebuyers and emergency preparedness for the home and office. Check out our recurring Things To Do section to keep you involved and having fun in the community.
But what I am most excited about is the story celebrating the accomplishments of a few of our graduating seniors and the plans they have for their future. These youth gave me a great sense of promise, knowing our world is safe in their hands. Each has a different path, but all are filled with optimism and vitality--just like spring.
